November Inspiration by Ingrid

Hello there 2Crafty friends!
Hope all is well at your end of the world?

Ingrid here today with three projects to share with you,
two canvas/layouts and a set of Xmas cards.

Here is my first:
A canvas/layout with a small Greek street.

Started this one by glueing the grid panel and the flourish.
Added some modeling paste for extra texture and then painted it all.
Once dry it got a coat with some gesso and some splatters.

The flourish with a coat of gesso.

A piece of the grid panel.

A small Sharon Butterfly.

Tucked in some leafy twig branches.

Added some paper flowers and I cut some pieces of a flower ribbon.

And here is my second project:

I took a photo of my oldest daughter and her husband on their wedding day.
Wanted to create a fun and happy look as it was a wonderful, beautiful day.
I glued the hanging and the squiggly hearts and added all the paint.
Once dry it all got a coat of gesso.
Sorry, I just love my gesso! :)
As a finishing touch I made some splatters.

The Squiggly hearts.

Fine word 'forever', painted with the gesso.

Added some beads. Love these kinds of extra embellishments!

November Inspiration and Picture Tutorial
by Debbie Burns

Hi everyone, Debbie here with you today to share my November projects.

"Amazing Day"

I love fall colors with their deep rich tones.  I used a picture of a dear friend of mine and
was inspired by the colors in the picture. I applied some random misting on the background.

I embossed the Frame Handrawn Heart with a mixture of spice and chili powder.  On each side of my photo I added Addy's Butterflies, embossed with spice, sage and turquoise embossing powders. Beneath the butterfly is the new Swaying Branches embossed with a distressed brown powder.

A close up of the Swaying Branches and Leafy Rounds Chipboard pieces.
I added some twig and paprika microbeads.

Here I've used the new Amazing Day title embossed with brown and chili.

Karine's November Share....

My dear crafty friends,

Is it really the middle of November yet?
I can't believe time flies that fast!
I almost didn't make it this month for my monthly share, but I managed
to steel a few hours to create two layouts that I share with you today. The first one is called

 «You Shine»

I started out with the Circle Lace Panel. I cut it in a few pieces
and I embossed those with black embossing powder.

Next, I selected the beautiful Leafy Shrub Set 2.

I used all three pieces on my layout, amongst my flower clusters.

I covered them partially with dark teal embossing powder, leaving the
raw chipboard showing in a few places. I love the distress look it gives.

Finally, my title piece is the You Shine title. I embossed  with aqua embossing powder.

My second layout features a family picture and is called...

 «Memories»

This time, I selected the Frame Elouise's as my focal point.

I embossed it with gold embossing powder.

I then used one of the Ada's Flourishes. I cut it in half, placing the biggest
part below my picture. I embossed it with bronze embossing powder.

The other half, I placed to the left to my picture.

I also embossed the Tahnya's 6" Border with this bronze embossing powder.

I placed it on the left side of my layout, in my flowers cluster.

Finally, I used one of the Line Words - Goodtimes Borders, embossed in bronze powder.
